Nursing questions

 Who was she?

Florence Nightingale

1) A crazy woman who forced injured soldiers to work for her in the hospital.

2) A brave nurse who took care of injured soldiers during the crimean war.

3) A spinster who never got married, turned down in her youth a noble man with a large house and then run away from her home and mother and father to go travelling somplace in Europe.

4) A silly girl with lace and and an apron.

If you do not feel this is interesting enough, try find an other subject using Wikipedia or continue reading here for more posts.

My interest is here focused around creating a theatre or film costume for a young actress, who is going to play Florence Nightingale either on screen or stage.

So I probably continue here, by trying to find her portrait and then continue to make, or in second hand shops find the clothes and other things the actress will need.

We'll see how long I can keep up this project. I can also choose another character or start writing about anything else here...

But if anybody who is reading this feel free to participate somehow...

Go back to Le Village de Noël...learn some word english or french or swedish or even finnish on the route...

Not so many weeks now, the days will get longer than the night again. Maybe seven weeks, Sometimes the nights feel like they will never end, when you cannot sleep around four in the night and still have to get up early. This feeling continues some weeks in January, february also, snow is a a word...

Ice is another word. I think the best way is to keep contact with some other human beings, not to work totally isolated and alone. So learning languages is good. For starters...sing words, write them, but remember everybody has got the right to sleep, rest and be alone in between lessons or performances.

Even married couples...
